Kuntal Dave - Proprietor, Nanubhai Desai & Co, Mumbai, India. Mr. Kuntal Dave is the proprietor of Nanubhai Desai & Company, an old established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Mumbai. He advises clients on cross border taxation, M&A, corporate law and strategies, Transfer Pricing matters and Transaction Structuring and Valuation matters.
Kuntal co-authored a book providing detailed analysis on Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015. Liz Palmer - Partner and Head of Private Wealth, Howard Kennedy, London. Liz advises wealthy families, entrepreneurs, and property investors on inheritance tax mitigation and the effective devolution of family wealth. She has particular expertise acting for non-UK resident/domiciled individuals and specialises in the creation of offshore trusts and complex asset structuring for high-net-worth individuals. Her practice regularly involves cross-border succession planning for international clients who have personal and business assets all over the world. Her expertise extends to dealing with complexities of digital estates.
Leigh Sayliss - Partner and Head of Business and Property Taxes, Howard Kennedy, London. Leigh is a tax lawyer who advises clients on property, commercial, and employment taxes in particular. He works with his clients' accountants and other advisers to ensure their planning is correctly implemented. He provides the bridge between the technical requirements of the proposed arrangements and the legal drafting.
Chirag Rao - Senior Associate and Head of the India Group, Howard Kennedy, London. Chirag is an expert in property development and projects, with a focus on the hospitality space. He acts for a number of established and upcoming entrepreneurial developer and investor clients. As head of Howard Kennedy's India Group, Chirag has strong connections to the sub-continent. He is focusing on strengthening ties with India and advising Indian businesses on inward investment into the UK as well as acting for Indian diaspora clients within the UK.
Shreya Rao - Partner, AZB & Partners, Karnataka, India. Shreya is a tax and private client partner with AZB & Partners. As co-head of the private client practice at AZB, she assists UHNI business families, entrepreneurs, fund principals and NRIs with a range of requirements including planning for intra-family wealth transfers through trusts and wills, international private client matters, structuring of investments, divestments and philanthropic bequests, acquisition and preservation of luxury assets and family governance.
The Chambers Asia-Pacific Tax survey reviews her as being "highly regarded for tax restructuring and private wealth planning, as well as advice to non-profit organisations" and recommends her for "thoroughness, attention to detail and preparedness". Anand Shah - Senior Partner, AZB & Partners, Maharashtra, India. Anand is a senior partner at AZB & Partners and co-heads the Private Client Practice. In the private client space he regularly advises promoter families on succession planning, family arrangements and restructuring of promoter holdings across group organisations. Apart from private client matters he also covers a range of practice areas including Corporate, M&A and Banking & Finance.
Anand contributes to the Private Client Practice at AZB with his in-depth knowledge in the field of corporate law, SEBI regulations, trust law, real estate law - all crucial in family re-organisations and structuring promoter holding.
