The event will commence with a panel discussion on the latest trends in advising UHNW private clients from the LATAM region. The discussion will include important areas for clients from this region, such as the implications of the loss of capacity by ageing Settlors on the management of a trust structure; the challenges of monitoring the performance of an investment manager within a trust structure.

Henry Mander heads Harneys' Trusts practise and is an expert on all aspects of trust law in Cayman and BVI.

In his current practice, Henry works with both private and institutional clients, including bank, trust companies and family offices. He utilises his experience in a broad range of trust and estate planning work, including the creation, administration and termination of complex international trusts. He also advises on the mechanics for effective succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, especially those in Latin America. He has particular expertise in the use of Private Trust Companies as holding mechanisms for operating businesses.

Henry is a recognised as leading lawyer for Cayman and BVI trusts and private client work by all the major legal directories. He has been ranked as a "thought leader" in the global elite category of Who's Who Legal for 2019 and is listed in the Legal Week Private Client Global Elite directory for 2019/20.

Alison Dyer-Fagundo is the Managing Director of Estera Services (Bermuda) Limited.

Alison has extensive experience in private equity transactions, derivatives, public and private company M&A activity, equity and debt markets, corporate governance, and partnerships in relation to both their formation and on-going transactions. She leads the members' voluntary liquidation practice, acting as liquidator in most cases. Alison was a former partner of a global offshore law firm in Bermuda, and recommended by IFLR1000 and Legal 500 Caribbean where she was commended for being 'extremely responsive and practical.' Chambers Global named Alison a 'Leader in her Field'', noting 'her significant experience in debt and equity financings and securities offerings and listings'.

Alison has a long history of sitting on boards of Bermuda companies as an independent director and provides commentary on the Bermuda funds and investment services, private equity, and insurance industries; recent examples of her market commentary include 'Influential Women in Hamilton', Bermuda Re+ILS - August 2019, 'Bermuda's ILS market flourishes', Artemis - May 2019, and 'Bermuda's captive market stands out in the crowd', Captive Review - June 2019.

Peter Daniel is the Head of Private Wealth at London law firm Collyer Bristow.

Peter is a Partner and the Head of Private Wealth. He specialises in trusts, tax and estate planning, specifically acting for high net worth individuals, particularly those with cross-jurisdictional affairs, trustees and beneficiaries of UK and overseas trusts, and executors and administrators of estates, including those involving disputes. He has particular expertise in advising clients with a US element to their affairs.

Following the panel there will be a one hour drinks reception, followed by a networking dinner. Guests will have the opportunity to circulate and meet professionals from a variety of specialisms and locations, all of whom serve wealthy international families. PCD club events are designed to aid networking and maximise business development opportunities in a relaxed and social setting.

The majority of the audience will be composed of private client lawyers, accountants, wealth managers, bankers and trust companies. Our goal is to make new connections between advisors based in key global financial centres. A full guest list will be provided to all delegates in advance of the event.
