Making new connections is at the heart of everything we do here at PCD and is the focus of the Friday show.

We will be speaking to five PCD members about their business across the hour, with speed networking sessions using Zoom Breakout Rooms to allow you to network with other members and the guest speakers on the call. This session is designed to give you new contacts to further your business. A guest list will be supplied to all registered.

We are delighted to be joined by:

• Peter Howitt - Director/Partner, Ince, Gibraltar. Peter has been involved in finance and technology since 2000 when he started his career at another leading international law firm in London. He is the CEO of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA), where he coordinates the industry on a wide range of issues, including regulatory, political and public relations matters.

  Peter helped to establish the Gibraltar E-Money Association (GEMA) and has been acting as GEMA's Secretary since 2012.Peter heads up Ince's operations in Gibraltar. His key areas of specialism are finance & technology, with a particular focus on TMT, gaming, e-money & payments, blockchain and cryptocurrency, commercial law and cross-border regulatory advice. He is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Gibraltar.

• David Conway - Associate Director, Buzzacott, London. David joined the Private Client team at Buzzacott in 2019 and works with all types of clients, providing them with personal tax return advice and compliance. Within this, he has a particular focus on non-domiciled individuals (including their interests in offshore trust and company structures) and those arriving in or leaving the UK.

  His specialist areas of knowledge are the taxation of non-domiciled individuals, including the remittance basis and offshore structures; the Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) taxation system, including advice on holding structures and compliance. David also advises his clients on planning for an individual's tax residence status, including the use of the statutory residence test. David works closely with experts in Buzzacott's Expatriate Tax Services and Financial Planning teams, as well as their Tax Investigations and Corporate teams, to ensure that all his clients benefit from fully joined-up advice.

  Before joining Buzzacott, David spent three years at Moore Stephens and prior to that, nine years at Crowe Clark Whitehill. Outside of his tax work, David is a part-time DJ, occasionally DJing in locations all over Europe.

• Henry Freeman - Executive Director, Liberum Wealth, Guernsey. Now in his third decade in finance, Henry has moved back to Guernsey as an Executive Director of Liberum Wealth - an independent specialist provider of trade execution, custody, cash and FX services for individuals, families, companies, funds and investment managers.

• Henry's earlier career can broadly be split into 10 year chunks - the first 10 years managing investments for funds and private clients. The second 10 years as an investment banker, advising Boards and fund managers with Liberum - a leading independent London based investment bank and institutional broker.

• Chris Ward - Professional Connections Director, Cornerstone Tax Advisors, London. Chris started and ran a top 100 IFA business for 30 years advising HNW Private Clients and tech sector Corporate clients, now a Director of SDLT Refunds, a division of Cornerstone Tax Advisers who specialise in Stamp Duty advice.

• Jason Connon - Chief Executive Officer, Provenance Insurance Brokers, London. Provenance is a specialist Private Client brokerage insuring high value homes, supercars, prestige cars and class cars, Fine Art, Collections, Superyachts and Aviation.
