Hannah Wailoo - Partner at Trowers & Hamlins in London. Hannah is a specialist succession and personal tax planning lawyer and advises both domestic and international individuals, families, trustees and family offices. She provides tax efficient and estate planning solutions, with a particular focus on international families with a presence in the UK, or who are investing into or relocating to the UK. Her key specialism is UK real estate ownership for international families and investors, where she provides inheritance tax and other personal tax mitigation advice for real estate inward investment to the UK and for existing structures. Hannah works closely with our Real Estate teams in London and the regions, as well as our Middle East and Malaysia offices to provide integrated advice across the jurisdictions. Hannah's work also involves the administration of estates with multi-jurisdictional connections.
Victoria Grogan - Wills and Probate Manager at Ogier in Jersey. Victoria deals with a broad variety of clients and is frequently instructed to draft Wills for both local and foreign domiciled clients as well as dealing with the estate administration of local and foreign domiciled estates. Victoria also works on the registration of foreign Powers of Attorney, administers local Curatorships, and Tutelles as well as handling Court applications for a number of different matters such as the variation of a Will, applications in relation to the actions of an Executor or claims against an estate. Victoria can also provide advice and legal opinions on domicile issues, the situs or ownership of assets from a succession point of view, and the validity of Wills and their terms.
Nick Toubkin - Senior Client Director at Strabens Hall in London. He advises clients who are predominantly resident non-domiciled, or non-resident non-domiciled. Nick specialises in advice around investment management, financial planning and clients' broad structuring needs both onshore and offshore. Nick also specialises in complex tax focussed investments. Nick joined the Strabens Hall London office from Tilney Group where he advised high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to that Nick spent over eight years at Coutts where he was a Director in the Wealth Management division. Awarded the Gold Future Leaders Award 2017 by Citywealth, Nick brings a wealth of skill and knowledge to the role and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment certification (CISI). He also has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Kitty Harris - Relationship Development Manager at Prism the Gift Fund in London. Kitty oversees the Donor Advised Fund division at Prism. A DAF is an easy to establish, tax effective vehicle for individuals and families giving globally. Prism offers a swift, flexible, personable and bespoke philanthropy solution for UK Domiciled and Res-Non-Dom donors. Kitty looks after a broad range of high net worth and ultra-high net worth donors including those that give overseas, and impact invest from their DAFs. She educates private client intermediaries on philanthropy, tax effective giving and when a DAF is more appropriate than a private grant making foundation.
