Join us for the second episode in the three part Cayman Series, kindly sponsored by Dart Family Office. The discussion will focus on the latest trends on how and why Family Offices are using Cayman to administer and manage the wealth of UHNW families around the world. We are delighted to be joined by:

Philip Paschalides - Philip is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office and is a partner in the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Groups. Philip specialises in debt capital market issuances, securitisations and structured products, including repackagings, CLOs, catastrophe bonds, insurance-linked securities and bespoke structured transactions. Philip frequently represents lenders on secured and unsecured lending transactions, in particular within the hedge fund and private equity fund context. Over the financial crisis, Philip had an active restructuring practice, dealing with large corporate restructurings as well as the restructuring of complex structured finance transactions such as CDOs and SIVs. Philip is also a member of the multi-disciplinary private client and capital practice, where he represents private clients and family offices on the financial aspects of cross-border transactions in which they participate.

Chris Duggan - Chris is the Vice President of Business Development at Dart Real Estate, where he works with high-net-worth individuals to guide them through relocating their business or family to the Cayman Islands, and help them with resources, financial services, and more. He also manages the Cayman Alternative Investment Summit (CAIS), which brings together investors, fund managers, academics, economists, and regulators to discuss the relevant issues shaping the global alternative investment space. Prior to joining Dart, Chris worked as Head of Private Banking for Butterfield Bank, so brings extensive experience in corporate and private banking, corporate lending, and dealing with treasury to his role.

Sue Holmes - Senior Manager, Head of Private Banking - Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited in Grand Cayman. Sue is a career banker with 30 years of experience in the international wealth management sector with a focus on offshore financial services. For the past 20 years she has led wealth management businesses in numerous sub-Saharan African countries, Europe and the Caribbean. She has worked extensively with corporate, institutional and high net worth individuals providing complex wealth, banking and asset management solutions to both local and international clients. Sue holds a Master of Business Administration degree. Prior to joining Butterfield in 2018, she served as Head of Corporate and Institutional at RBC Wealth Management. Sue has resided in the Cayman Islands for 13 years.
