Join us for a discussion on the latest trends from the UK & International Pensions arena and its interaction with Estate Planning in the UK. The discussion will cover considerations for advisors in tax, law, wealth management & wealth structuring.

The discussion will be hosted on Zoom and include a live discussion with a distinguished panel, followed by small group discussions using Breakout Rooms to enhance the networking and discussion. This will allow our members to interact directly with each other and the panelists. A full guest list will be circulated to those that attend.

Rob Hodgson - Wealth Planner, Cazenove Capital, London. Rob is a Wealth Planner within Cazenove Capital's financial planning team and provides advice on complex investment structuring, pensions and holistic tax planning. He has spent several years at Lloyds Private Bank within their 'Mayfair' high net worth division, advising private and corporate clients on all aspects of wealth generation and preservation. He's also spent three years at an independently owned boutique, providing specialist structuring advice to private clients. Rob is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute with over 10 years' experience.

Peter Sayers - Head of International Business Development, Strabens Hall, Jersey. Peter has responsibility for promoting Strabens Hall's wealth planning services to clients and their professional advisers in the key offshore jurisdictions, including the Channel Islands, Switzerland, Monaco and Bermuda.

Peter qualified as a financial adviser in Jersey in 1995 and has always focused on advising clients with an international profile, with a particular focus on international pension planning and high value life assurance solutions. Prior to joining Strabens Hall, Peter was a partner in a multi-disciplinary wealth management business with offices in Jersey, Switzerland and Cyprus. He subsequently established a specialist consultancy practice in Jersey to provide wealth planning services to private banks, family offices and wealth managers.

Peter splits his time between Jersey and London and travels extensively in Europe and further afield. In his spare time, Peter enjoys outdoor activities with his three children, skiing, cycling and any activity connected to the mountains.

Rachel de Souza - Tax Partner, RSM UK, London. Rachel is a tax advisor with over 25 years' experience in private client tax planning. She specialises in advising clients where there are international aspects. Many of her clients are non-domiciled with offshore structures but increasingly, she advises UK doms as they have cross border issues as well. Rachel also advises trustees directly. She also specialises in advising trustees and members on the implications of accessing funds in all sorts of non-UK pension plans, and other tax issues related to those plans.

Rachel's primary focus is on working with clients, trustees and intermediaries to deliver practical and efficient solutions for them, their beneficiaries and clients. Additionally, her work involves guiding families and supporting them through sensitive succession matters, such as passing wealth between family generations.

Rachel has been published, featured or quoted in The Telegraph, Financial Times, Tax Journal, What Investment and Citywealth Leaders List for her extensive experience in private wealth matters for HNWI. She has been awarded the Bronze award in Citywealth Powerwomen Awards for Leadership in Professional Services 2018 and 2019 and featured in the Citywealth IWD 2019 Transatlantic Selection for UHNWI.

Martin Hall - Director, Peregrine Corporate Services, Isle of Man. Martin heads up Peregrine Corporate Services, a fiduciary business based on the Isle of Man, and is responsible for the day to day operations of the firm and managing client relationships. TEP qualified, Martin has enjoyed a career in the CSP and Pension industries.

In addition to his role at Peregrine, Martin is also a non-executive director of Equilibrium Pensions Limited, an Isle of Man based pension provider servicing clients domestically and internationally.

Martin hosts the Front Line Podcast, where he chats to various industry leaders who share their knowledge and experience in the business of networking, mentoring, communication and leadership. In addition he also hosts the M Word podcast which delves into stories for all walks of life, ranging from trauma of addiction and mental health battles to mind set and psychology in sporting and business success.

As a keen cyclist, he acts as Chairman of his lifelong cycling club and is also a Trustee on the Manx Solidarity Fund which was set up to help the Manx community through the Coronavirus Global Pandemic.
