He has a particular interest in the 'next gen' of wealth owners and speaks extensively on the topic of transitioning wealth to millennials and Gen Z. He has expertise in ESG and social impact investing, and advises trustees on associated issues of fiduciary risk.

Melanie Griffiths - Head of Client Solutions, Private Wealth, Equiom, London. Melanie started her career at Deloitte on a graduate program before joining J.P. She is LOIM's representative on the Observers Group of the TNFD and also a representative on the Global Responsible Investor Committee for AIMA (Alternative Investment Management Association).

Kristina joined Lombard Odier in November 2019 from Barclays where she was Head of the European automotive equity research from 2009 to 2018 and Global Head of future mobility & industrials thematic research from 2018, focusing on electrification of transport, micromobility, Smart Cities, autonomous driving, mobility-as-a-service, industry 4.0 and the electric vehicle supply chain.

Michael Strachan - Managing Director and Founder, IAM Advisory, Guernsey. Michael is the founder of IAM Advisory and has over 45 years investment experience. He developed the approach used by IAM Advisory whilst one of the original senior investment managers in the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and subsequently as advisor to the State General Reserve Fund for the Government of Oman's two major Sovereign Wealth Funds. ADIA was unique at the time in its development of a structure that combined both externally-managed specialists and internal investment managers - a situation that required a rigorous framework for developing investment strategy of the total portfolio and subsequent monitoring. This background underlies IAM Advisory's own development of flexible unconstrained guidelines which allow fund managers to manage money actively whilst controlling risk centrally.

Before working for ADIA and Government of Oman Michael worked as an investment manager with Guardian Royal Exchange in London.

Roderick Balfour - Global Fiduciary Consultant, President, Equiom Trust (South Dakota) LLC, London. Roderick has been steeped in the trust business for 30 years having started with a global mandate at a leading investment bank. This educated him at an evolutionary stage in the world of wealth planning about all the different cultural and fiscal considerations in setting up succession and asset protection structures. In particular he foresaw the widening dichotomy between the approach of the USA versus the OECD and this led him to co-found Equiom's South Dakota trust business many years ahead of others.

Roderick came into the trust business from a varied investment background including private client and bond and derivative trading. This experience has been invaluable in working with beneficiaries on their investment strategy and screening the providers.
