Jonathan Harris-Lowe - Head of Marine Services, Trident. He has overall responsibility for the strategy and day-to-day operations of the Guernsey office supporting Trident’s global business as Head of Marine Services.
Jonathan is a professionally qualified member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP). During a career that has covered both Asia and Europe he has gained a broad range of commercial, operational and human resource experience relevant on land and at sea.
Dominic Bulfin - Director, Bargate Murray’s superyacht group based in London. Dom advises owners and their representatives on all aspects of superyacht ownership and management.
As lawyer and trusted advisor to HNWs, UHNWs and their representatives, Dom's practice spans the superyacht sector including the construction, design, refit, sale and purchase and financing of yachts, as well as matters relating to yacht charter, operations and crew employment.
Marianne Danissen - Head of Yacht Management, Camper & Nicholsons. Marianne spent over 10 years at sea sailing on various yachts as mate then later as chief engineer. She speaks English, Dutch, French and German fluently and considers herself as a world citizen. She is very passionate about her time at sea and loves crossing the Atlantic to work busy charter seasons in the Caribbean and Owner trips in the Med.
Marianne spent numerous years in the engine rooms of motor and sailing yachts, during which time she developed a true passion for engineering.
In 2003,she started as an assistant in the C&N Yacht Management Division and pursued her career in the maintenance and compliancy of yachts under management. She swiftly became a specialist in the ISM & ISPS compliance, an area in which she became the manager for many years.
In between loving to learn and further her knowledge, she became one of the few certified ILO trainers in the application of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 in the yachting industry. She is highly interested in any new regulations which affect yachts in general and seafarers alike.
She passed on her compliance responsibilities of the division in 2013 and moved to the Senior Fleet Manager’s position looking after a large fleet of yachts.
Following on in 2018 she became the Deputy Head of Yacht Management Department based in the Monaco office, to then take over the Head of Yacht Management early 2019. She now manages the entire team, a job she also does with passion and dedication.
Always involved in teaching or making people grow, Marianne likes to encourage personal development for all in the industry. Outside of work, Marianne loves spending time outdoors, she is a keen hiker, kite surfer and sailing when possible.
Dan Armsden - Co-Founder and CEO, Crewdentials. Crewdentials is a software business that takes the headache away from managing crew data and credentials, enabling crew and maritime businesses to focus their time and teams on what they do best - connecting with clients, progressing careers and building professional relationships.
Prior to establishing these businesses, Dan progressed through the ranks during an 11 year period, culminating in a director’s role as Head of Crew Services and Yacht Technical. Responsibilities included business development, establishing procedures and time saving systems, internal-auditing, training and leading a crew management and payroll team with a portfolio of over 100 vessels.
Outside of business Dan loves spending time outdoors with family and friends, he is a keen triathlete, kitesurfer and surfer.
